Wulff, 88, of Columbia, passed away Thursday, May 31, 2018 in Columbia.A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held at Memorial Funeral Home in Columbia from 2:00-4:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 9.Al was born Dec. 2, 1929 in Vienna, Mo. to Louis J. and Margaret Wansing Wulff.In 1947, he graduated from Dixon High School before the family moved to Columbia.Al worked as a finish carpenter for BD Simon, and served in the US Army during the Korean War.Upon returning from service, he married the love of his life, Bernice Williams, on June 6, 1953.Soon after, Al and brother, William J. Wulff, started their own company, Wulff Brothers Construction. Later, brothers Martin and Harry J. “Doc” Wulff joined their brothers and formed Wulff Brothers Masonry.The brothers were responsible for over 200 homes in the Columbia area, Wulff Harbor Resort at Lake of the Ozarks as well as major contributors on several state projects including work at Whiteman Air Force Base, the Truman Office Building in Jefferson City, the Columbia Public Library, Boone County Hospital and various buildings at University of Missouri.He is survived by his wife, Bernice; three children, Linda Wulff of West Plains, Susan (Steve) Turner of St. Louis, and David (Barby) Wulff of Columbia; four grandchildren, Meg (Bill) Krenn, Todd (Meg) Turner, and Anne Turner all of St. Louis, and Alex (Emily) Wulff of Columbia; six great-grandchildren, Emory, Noah, Liam, and Taylor Krenn, Caitlin Turner, and Jillian Wulff; two brothers, William J. Wulff and Harry J. “Doc” (Phyllis) Wulff of Columbia; sister-in-law, Margaret Wulff of Columbia; and several nieces and nephews.His parents; brother, Martin Wulff; sister, Mary Wulff; and sister-in-law, Helen Wulff preceded him in death.Online condolences may be left for the family at memorialfuneralhomeandcemetery.com ...

Visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 p.m., with a Prayer Service at 4:30 p.m. on Monday, June 11- at Memorial Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 12 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, with Msgr. Michael Flanagan celebrating Mass. Entombment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.She was born on Dec. 4, 1934, in St. Anthony, the daughter of Leo and Matilda (Blomberg) Dickneite, both of whom preceded her in death.She was married on Oct. 13, 1962 in Columbia to Cletus Wulff who preceded her in death on Oct. 3, 1998.She graduated from Kingsville High School. Erma worked as a nurse’s aide for Boone Hospital for over 30 years. She enjoyed bowling, was a huge Kansas City Royals and Chiefs and Missouri Tiger fan, and liked listening to old country music. Most of all she loved time spent with family and taking care of her grandkids.She is survived by her children, Barbara (Dan) O’Rourke of Columbia, Sherry Wulff of Las Vegas, and Mary (Norm) Clark of Kirksville; grandchildren, Nicole (Derek) Flood-Lorber, Stephanie Almora, Kevin Almora, Ian Clark, Russell Clark, Duncan Clark, and Catie Clark; great-grandchildren, Lawson and Cason Flood-Lorber, and Addison and Harper Burks; brother, Harold (Marilyn) Dickneite of Tebbetts; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.She was preceded in death by five siblings, Anna Marie Stegeman, Laurain Dickneite, Irene Dickneite, Leo Dickneite, and Bernadette Veit.Memorials are suggested to the choice of the donor.Condolences may be left online for the family at www.memorialfuneralhomeandcemetery.com ...
